The FBO-Research Partnership

At UCF, research excellence requires reliable facilities and well-maintained equipment. The partnership between Facilities and Business Operations (FBO) and the research community is essential to supporting UCF’s mission as an innovative research university. Through the Research Maintenance Program, FBO provides highly skilled technical support for laboratory equipment and infrastructure, ensuring that our buildings can meet the demands of advanced research. The support from this program will:
  • Extend equipment lifespan through routine preventive maintenance and proper installation.
  • Maintain safe, functional spaces that support complex research needs.
  • Build trust and communication by encouraging technicians to have a visible presence in research areas.
We look forward to working with you!
